Lesson 2 of 6

Ideation & scripting

6 min read

The blank page is the slowest part of making anything. What if you could go from a one-line topic to three real angles and a script skeleton in seconds?

From topic to angles

Give AI a topic and ask for angles — distinct ways to tell the story. One topic, five or ten takes: the beginner-mistakes version, the myth-busting version, the two-minute-method version. You're not asking it to pick; you're asking it to lay out the options so you can choose the one that's yours.

AI is great at breadth — many angles fast. Choosing the angle that fits your voice is still your call.

From an angle to a script

Pick an angle and ask for a script outline: a hook, a few beats, a close. It hands you a skeleton to react to — far easier than starting from nothing. You rewrite the hook in your voice, drop a beat, add the story only you have. The draft is a starting line, not a finish line.

A script outline is a first draft to edit, not a script to read aloud. Your rewrite is where the voice comes in.

Ask for more angles than you need — ten, not three. The best one is often the seventh, the one you'd never have reached from a blank page.

The shape of it

You ask AI for ten angles on 'home coffee', pick one, and get a script outline. Where does your judgment matter most?
